“Andrew Bird: Fever Year” is a snapshot of Andrew Bird. It is a moving picture taken over a year of touring and laid out before the viewer in one hour and twenty minutes. A beautiful film that is sipped, not gulped; should you choose to partake, you will be treated to selections from a Milwaukee performance while spending time with Andrew on his family farm, in the studio, and of course, on the road.
On the weekend of February 24th, I was fortunate enough to join my friend Jonathon Newby (formerly of Brazil) on the road as part of JC Autobody. Memory Map is a bit of a super band for me. Featuring Mike Dixon, Mike Bridavsky, and two fellows I don’t know, this band seems to me to be the band that should have always existed, but until recently never did. Some seriously great stuff from some seriously great guys in Bloomington.
